Counseling

I strive to empower you and assist you.
Angel Brock, LPCC-S

Wintersville, TELEHEALTH

Angel believes that every person has the ability to change and grow. Therapy is a safe place where a client can share experience and emotion freely.

She specializes in working with adults and adolescents with concerns related to anxiety, depression, grief, LGBTQ, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and self-esteem. Issues that clients address in counseling include personal, emotional, professional, and relationship issues, among many others. Her primary approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavioral therapies. In essence, this integrative counseling approach strives to balance mindful awareness, a genuine and empathic relationship with the client, and a collaborative effort at identifying what changes a client can make to minimize emotional and behavioral disturbances.

Angel holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University and Bachelor of Science Business Administration in Human Resource Management with a focus of Industrial Psychology from Robert Morris University. Angel is also a member of the American Counseling Association and Star Behavioral Health Providers.

When asked what she’s awesome at helping clients with, Angel replied, “My role is to assist you in reaching whatever goals you may have for yourself by providing nonjudgmental support and helping to facilitate your journey, whatever form it may take. I strive to empower you and assist you in expanding healthy awareness, rather than to give you advice.”

“A fun fact about me is I was a DJ on the radio when I was younger.”
