Catriona believes counseling provides a safe and supportive environment where individuals can feel seen, heard, and valued. Within that space, people are able to explore their experiences, gain new insights, and tap into their inner strengths. She sees counseling as a collaborative process that fosters growth and resilience, while also helping individuals discover or create meaning in their lives. Her goal is to create a compassionate, accepting atmosphere that encourages clients to live more authentically, embrace their potential, and make lasting, positive changes.

Her areas of practice include working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

Catriona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and is currently pursuing a Master Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Franciscan University of Steubenville. She is also a member of Chi Sigma Iota Honors Society where she serves as Vice President of Franciscan University’s Psi Alpha Tau chapter.

When asked what she’s awesome at, Catriona replied, “I’m awesome at seeing the unique strengths in others and helping them recognize and embrace those qualities in themselves.”

“My fun fact is that I love traveling! I once visited three national capitals in one day.”
