Counseling
We all need a support system to help us along the way.
Corinne Milentijevic, LISW-S
Canfield, Columbiana, TELEHEALTH
Corinne believes that we are all on our own healing journey, and she wants to congratulate you for taking a step toward peace and wellness! It is hard, and we all need a support system to help us along the way. She wants to be there for you to assist you when the feelings get too much, when that sneaky trauma response appears just when you thought you had already dealt with it, or you find yourself sabotaging the heck out of your new relationship and have no idea why, or when life just seems to keep serving you that left hook that you were not anticipating at all. She can promise that the time spent with her will be a sacred space that is dedicated to you. Together, you will find relief for your pain whether it is through talk therapy, somatic exercises, or meditation and mindfulness. Corinne will be a safe place to land with no judgement.

Her areas of specialty include trauma, wellness, women’s health, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, sexual identity, sexual health and wellness, LGBTQI+, family and youth issues, couples counseling, attachment theory, holistic interventions, meditation and mindfulness, yoga and somatic exercises. Corrine is informed by cognitive behavioral therapy theories, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychoanalytic psychodynamic theories, attachment focus and uses an integrative, individualistic approach. She is committed to providing therapy in a safe, effective, supportive, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.

Corinne holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work and a Master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in Applied Social Science Administration. She is trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused Adventure Therapy. She has also received her Supervisory Designation and has had the pleasure of supervising students and interns from colleges near and far!

When asked what Corinne believes she is awesome at, Corinne replied, “I believe my clients are able to see and feel the passion I have for my profession and the work that we do together in therapy. Being a Social Worker is so much more than a job for me: it’s my purpose. I’ve trained and studied extensively to pursue this passion. Beyond my enthusiasm and dedication, I also have a solid background in trauma focused therapy, victim advocacy, and case management working in urban settings with diverse populations for almost 30 years which translates into my work in the therapy office. My clients know that I do not suggest interventions to them, that I myself have not tried!”

“I love a good flea market with my best girlfriends on a sunny day!”
