Counseling
Get on the path to becoming the best version of themselves.
Aline Scott, LPC
Boardman, TELEHEALTH
Aline believes we all have an innate need to be seen and to feel heard. Having a safe person in our lives can truly help people get on the path to becoming the best version of themselves. Counseling can be that catalyst; it can provide a trusted connection to help propel a person’s life forward, to get through the hard times, and to celebrate the wins.

She has worked with children and adolescents over that past year with the majority of her caseload being trauma related disorders, depression and anxiety. Her passion is to work with women (and families) who are struggling with infertility and wish to start a family. Aline is also excited to work with new moms going through the amazing and challenging transition in life! Finally, with her coaching background, Aline also truly enjoys working with athletes at all levels.

Aline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Marist College, a Master of Arts in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Youngstown State University. She is also a member of the Ohio Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota.

When asked what Aline believes she is awesome at, Aline replied, “I love listening to people’s stories and getting to know who they truly are. I can talk to anyone, anywhere! But my true pride and love in life is being a mom. Raising kids has been my favorite thing to do. Sometimes I feel awesome at it, others I feel completely unequipped for the task, but it’s honestly my biggest joy.”

“I have been lucky enough to live in 3 countries. I was born and raised in Brazil and that’s a very big part of who I am and how I approach life. I have also lived in Italy and now in the United States. I have learned to see the world from different aspects and I love that I have different perspectives when making decisions in life. It’s also taught me that it’s okay to not know something and laugh at myself as I’m learning new things.”

Aline Scott, LPC is under the supervision of Andrew Ryan, LPCC, E.1800543-SUPV.
