Counseling
Counseling is a safe place.
Christina Warren, CT
East Palestine, East Liverpool
Christina believes that counseling is a safe place where people can show up as their most authentic selves without fear of judgement or rejection. She believes counseling should feel like the place people can “put the heavy things down” to lighten their load and become more familiar with themselves. It involves an adaptive and collaborative partnership between the counselor and the client, both working towards the same shared goals. Every single person experiences life differently, so Christina doesn’t believe there is a “one size fits all” approach to healing. She believes in a holistic view that deeply considers how life experiences can impact people differently. She is passionate about creating a supportive and empowering space for every client.

Christina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from Pennsylvania State University and is currently working toward her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

When asked what Christina believes she is awesome at, Christina replied, “I’m really awesome at being empathetic, genuine, and kind. I am not someone who judges others or thinks less of them for sharing some of their “not so awesome” choices with me. I know a popular gym uses the slogan that they are a “judgement free zone”, but I really think I’m better at it.”

“A fun fact about me is that I play the guitar and really love metal music! I actually like a little bit of everything, but rock music is always my favorite!”
