Counseling
Having someone who will truly listen to you.
Crystal Ward
Canfield, Salem, TELEHEALTH

Crystal believes that everyone can benefit from some type of counseling to achieve an overall good mental health and wellness. Think of counseling as having coffee with a good friend, having someone who will truly listen to you in a safe, non-judgemental environment that can assist an individual in successfully coping and managing their daily lives and life stressors. Sometimes it is just nice to have someone to open up and vent to.

Currently, she has not narrowed down a specialty or area of practice. She is a counseling trainee who is eager to experience different areas of practice and learn what she will be most passionate about.

As a counseling student, Crystal is working towards a Masters of Art degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds degrees in Bachelor of Science Psychology, an Associate of Arts Psychology: Christian Counseling, and Associate of Arts Psychology. Crystal is also a member of Chi Sigma Iota and is a Girl Scouts leader.

When asked what Crystal believes she is awesome at, Crystal replied, “I am awesome at being enthusiastic about my work and tasks that I need to accomplish. I am a great listener who does not judge others or their situations. I am also a very empathetic and compassionate individual who wants to help others find the correct tools to help them achieve their goals and overall good health and wellness.”

“Some little fun facts about me are that I enjoy reading, crafts, baking, music, makeup and skincare. I also love making fancy coffees and espressos on the weekends. I am a mother of four and four yorkie fur-babies named Ollie, Millie, Gigi and Cocoa.”

Crystal Ward, trainee is under the supervision of Kimberly J. Steele, PCC/S, E.0500707-SUPV.
