Every student deserves the chance to be themselves.

Hannah Virden, QMHS

East Liverpool, TELEHEALTH

Hannah believes school-based TBS and case management provides students with the foundation and resources they need to be successful. These services introduce the client to positive relationships, coping skills and behavior reinforcement. She advocates for her clients both inside the classroom and out. She takes a holistic approach when working with students and their families and acknowledges that there can be many different factors that contribute to a student’s overall well-being. Healing is a journey and there isn’t one right answer! It’s about the process and the resources you gain along the way. Every student deserves the chance to be themselves!

In Hannah’s specialty of Case Management, she loves working with children! She taught preschool for a year after college and absolutely loved it. Hannah enjoys working on social-emotional skills and helping with de-escalation techniques, coping skills and emotion regulation. Although she loved her preschoolers, she is open to working with students of all ages!

Hannah graduated from Youngstown State University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work. She recently applied to go back to YSU to earn a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling.

When asked what Hannah believes they are awesome at, Hannah replied, “I am awesome at creating spaces for healing to happen. I have a passion for validating people’s feelings and holding space for them. I truly feel for all of my clients and try my best to empathize with them and their families.”

“I absolutely LOVE going to concerts. Bonus points if it’s Taylor Swift!”
