Counseling
Counseling is for all people to maintain a healthy equilibrium.
Jackie Laverick, SWT
Salem, TELEHEALTH
Jackie believes that counseling is for all people to maintain a healthy equilibrium; not just for the hurt or ill. She also believes that counseling should take a holistic approach in considering all aspects of a person’s life in order to set up the individual for healing and success.

Her specialty areas include First Responders, PTSD/C-PTSD, SUDs, Children and Adolescents.

Jackie earned her AAS Corrections from Eastern Gateway Community College in 2010, her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from University of the Cumberlands, and she will be graduating in May 2025 with a Masters in Social Work from Ohio University.

When asked what Jackie believes she is awesome at, Jackie replied, “I’m good at connecting with people and seeing someone else’s perspective and version of reality. I previously worked as a mental health crisis responder and that really taught me how to meet the person where they are at. I enjoy giving people a safe space to work out their problems.”

“Fun fact, I enjoy being outside no matter what season it is. I love discovering new places and listening to music on long road trips.”

Jackie Laverick, SWT is under the supervision of Corinne Milentijevic, LISW-S.
