Counseling
Counseling allows clients to be heard and seen.

Kiah Sartain, LPC

New Middletown, TELEHEALTH
Kiah believes counseling involves walking alongside clients as they navigate life, while providing a safe, supportive environment in which they can be themselves. Counseling allows clients to be heard and seen through a strong therapeutic relationship. Counseling provides them with the necessary tools needed to make progress and make positive changes that will impact their lives immensely. Whether short-term or long-term, counseling provides a foundation of skills and tools that clients can utilize the rest of their lives no matter what they end up facing.

Kiah specializes in adults, adolescents, depressions, anxiety, trauma, and Christian counseling. She utilizes CBT frequently as our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are constantly interacting with each other. She also uses Person-Center counseling.

She holds a BA in Psychology from Malone University, and she is currently in a Master’s program at YSU for Clinical Mental Health Counseling with expected graduation in August 2024. Kiah is also a member of the American Counseling Association and the Ohio Counseling Association.

When asked what Kiah believes she is awesome at, Kiah replied, “I am great at being in the present moment. Even when discussing the past or future, I enjoy focusing on how those affect our current state of being. I am also great at challenging and pushing my clients towards their personal goals.”

“I love being outside! Playing sports, hiking, being on the water, or walking my dog… it doesn’t matter as long as I am outside enjoying the sun.”

Kiah Sartain, CT is under the supervision of Jackie Gamble, LPCC-S, E.1800837-SUP.
