Therapy dogs can help calm clients in distress, bring joy, and provide affection.
Rebel Oates
Canfield, Columbiana
Rebel believes in the power of what therapy dogs can do! When they are in counseling sessions, therapy dogs can help calm clients in distress, bring joy, and provide affection. They can help impact the mental and physical well being of those who hang out with them!

He was the top therapy dog candidate from his liter from 317 Korte Bernadoodles in Lebanon, Ohio (https://www.317kortebernedoodles.com/)! All puppies at KBD undergo The BAB Aptitude Test/Puppy Evaluation at 7 weeks old. Puppies are evaluated on assertiveness, confidence, motivational level, resiliency, touch tolerance, energy level, sound sensitivity, light sensitivity, human focus, tenderheartedness, and dog friendliness.

Revel is a therapy dog in training! He recently completed the Boad and Train Program through Paws on Main in Columbiana, Ohio and is currently enrolled in their Puppy Play School and Therapy Dog Training program. Rebel will be ready to sit for his Therapy Dog test on his first birthday!

When asked what Rebel believes he is awesome at, Rebel replied, “I am a very good sitter.”

“Before I had my training, I loved to steal shoes! I currently live with my owner and little human brother in Columbiana, Ohio. I love our neighborhood, our walks around the lake and meeting all the other dogs in the world!”
