Counseling
You must grow through what you go through.
Ashley Mauro, LPC
Boardman, Columbiana, Salem, TELEHEALTH

Counseling is an important, collaborative approach between a counselor and a client. Ashley believes it is a counselor’s job to create a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment and to be validating towards the client in order for the client to grow. She believes that you must grow through what you go through in order to be the best possible version of yourself. Her role is to help and encourage clients to meet their goals in order to live a fulfilling life. Counseling is an important dynamic to learn about and appreciate yourself.

Ashley’s specialty is with preteens and teenagers but she also enjoy working with adults and expanding her horizons. She has worked with clients of all backgrounds and most diagnoses.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Youngstown State University.

When asked what Ashley believes she is awesome at, Ashley replied, “I am a great listener and have a passion for validating others feelings. I enjoy helping clients find their voice and live an authentic life.”

“I enjoy hiking and traveling.”

Ashley Mauro, LPC is under the supervision of Judy Ciccone, LPCC-S.
