Counseling
Everyone needs their own person to express themselves to.
Christine Andujar, LPCC-S
Boardman, Salem, TELEHEALTH
Christine believes everyone has their own unique journey that should be expressed and listened to. She looks at counseling to be a form of self-reflection, having a safe space to be heard, and learning healthy coping skills. Christine believes everyone needs their own person to express themselves to. With that being said, everyone deserves to have that one person that see’s you for who you are, and not what others want you to be or expects you to be. Moreover, counseling is a process that can help create clarity for growth and understanding.

Her area of practice is Adult and Child/Adolescent Counseling. Christine engages in School-Based Counseling and Counseling within the office setting. She specializes in self-harming reduction, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, treating ADHD, trauma, and emotional regulation. Her therapeutic approaches consist of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TF-CBT, Solution Focused Interventions, and Strategic Family Therapy Interventions and Modalities.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Youngstown State University.

When asked what Christine believes she is awesome at, Christine replied, “I prioritize meeting clients where they are at within their therapeutic process. I have a great sense of humor which helps with building relationships. I truly believe that building trust with my clients is the start to a healthy therapeutic relationship. I take pride in understanding my client’s needs so we can create healthy changes. My motto is ‘You cannot change anything you do not understand.’”

“I have been White Water River Rafting five times! I have been rafting in Colorado Springs and West Virginia with taking on the New River Gorge.”
