Dan Pew

Austintown, TELEHEALTH

Dan believes that mental, emotional and physical health are all connected and important for overall well-being. His understanding as with anything in life is it takes a village, sometimes small, sometimes large. Wellness can be so many different things if viewed with specific mindsets, and perspective. He believes with commitment to continued counseling and intentional wellness it provides the power to change lives drastically.

Dan has worked primarily in the Substance Use field for six years where he specializes in Case Management. He is grateful to have had many amazing mentors throughout that time. He worked as a Resident Monitor/Tech, Chemical Dependence Counselor Assistant, Case Manager, Tech Supervisor and lastly Director of Community Outreach. He was also the facility representative for several different entities, including the Mahoning County Felony Drug Court.

Outside of work, Dan is a member of the Northern Ohio Golf Association.

When asked what he’s awesome at, Dan replied, “I am awesome at empowering others to achieve their goals. It has been my passion since I was a child, assisting and supporting others to achieve greatness has always brought me the most joy in life. I am rather awesome at being a Cat Dad. Hannibal and Hopper have a fantastically loving Dad that spoils them with love everyday. I am an awesome husband that provides laughter, love and support to my amazing wife Raven. I would love to tell you that I am an awesome golfer, but that would be a stretch so I will tell you that I am awesomely passionate about the game of golf.”

“I won second place in a short film contest. I won first place in a lip sync contest in 2017, being the only Male in the competition I did have to go above and beyond to win. I am a vocal and proud person in long term recovery from substance use, I have over 10 years of continued Recovery.”
