Counseling
Helps people navigate through personal challenges.
Jocelyn Smith, LPCC
East Liverpool, TELEHEALTH
Jocelyn believes that everyone has their own experiences that have shaped them and there is always room for improvement. She believes counseling includes meeting someone where they are at and allowing her to walk alongside them. Counseling can help people navigate through personal challenges, such as stress, anxiety, depression or relationships. All people have 2 goals — to feel significant and that they belong — Jocelyn thinks that being a space for those goals to be fulfilled can go a long way in a healing journey. Through counseling, she encourages self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth to help individuals thrive in the various aspects of their lives.

Jocelyn specializes in mindfulness, family systems, CBT and other therapies catered to each individual client. I have worked with many people with different stories and ages.

She received a Bachelor’s Degree in 2014 in Human Services from Geneva College and a Master’s Degree in 2016 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Geneva College.

When asked what Jocelyn believes she is awesome at, Jocelyn replied, “I am awesome at meeting people where they are at. I like a good challenge and appreciate chaos. I am awesome at listening to people and putting my heart into others. I am genuine and “know what you’re getting” type personality.”

“I really enjoy doing crafts of all sorts! House decorations, random shirts for my kiddos, doing my own nails. I take pleasure in trying new places to eat/ traveling around and being present in the experiences.”
