Counseling
Pave the way for learning and growth.
Marci Cullivan, MSW, LSW

Canfield and Columbiana, TELEHEALTH

Marci believes that strengthening our resilience, so that we can learn to thrive in the face of life’s challenges, is within reach for everyone. Taking time and making space for one’s self is one of the kindest things we can do, and yet it can be challenging when we get swept up in the day to day of our lives. Having a safe and respectful space in which people can feel heard and empowered can pave the way for learning and growth and can help to overcome difficulties. Each person is a unique individual influenced by culture, family, values and beliefs, and personal identity. Having support in discovering our own unique path towards healing and wellness can be a key factor in starting our journey towards finding ways to live a meaningful life.

She has extensive training in Trauma Informed Care, Resilience Theory, social and emotional skills training, and working with young children and their families. Marci is also trained in the Brazelton Newborn Behavior Observation and loves working with parents and their very young children.

Marci holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from YSU.

When asked what Marci believes she is awesome at, Marci replied, “What makes me awesome is that I believe that everyone has their own unique path towards healing and wellness. I am empathic and compassionate, and believe that we can find our own ways of being well through trust, communication, self-compassion, and learning together. When we focus on wellness and prevention, as well as intervention we can achieve personal growth.”

“I am a mom of 3 amazing humans and love being active outdoors with my Husband. We love to go camping, hiking, and kayaking. I also love reading anything I can get my hands on.”
