Counseling
The power of therapy lies within the therapeutic relationship.

Sarah Laite, MSW, LSW, GC-C

Boardman, TELEHEALTH

Sarah believes that each client is the expert on their own life. She utilizes a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to assist clients with understanding and healing from their experiences. The power of therapy lies within the therapeutic relationship, and the willingness of both the therapist and client to allow the difficult thoughts and feelings that come along with this.

Sarah specializes in working with individuals struggling with grief and loss, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She also has experience working with self-harm, sexual issues, addiction, and life transitions. She has worked in outpatient mental health, outpatient substance use facilities, and completed her internship working with college students in a University counseling center.

She holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Carlow University and continues to pursue training in grief and trauma.

When asked what Sarah believes she is awesome at, Sarah replied, “I am awesome at finding the good in others and connecting over our common humanity. I can usually
find humor in even the darkest times.”

“I love to stay busy and enjoy cooking. I am also a major procrastinator and accept the lazy parts of me that sometimes choose endless binge-watching over productivity and responsibility!”

Sarah Laite, LSW is under the supervision of Barb Marsch, LISW-S, I.1100135-SUPV.
